Payments & Subscriptions

Its not just large eCommerce platforms or smaller sales style businesses that require the capability of receiving payments through their websites. Events companies, sporting clubs & gyms, media content providers or charities (to name a few) also benefit from offering payment portals on their websites.

The options are endless but below we’ve created a few simple examples of ways you can receive payments for products, subscriptions and donations though PayPal, CreditCards and Apple Pay without needing to sign up for an eCommerce platform.

If you are a business that wishes to release content from behind a pay wall like a pay per view platform or a paid subscription services (like Netflix) that is controlled by a login then
contact us for more information as there maybe certain 3rd party licensing agreements required depending on the level of control you want over your content.

Note: Some of the examples are using multiple features and customisation which isn’t reflected in the plug in price, please
contact us for more info.

A Simply Buy Button

This does exactly what you’d expect, a simple and no frills button that can be assigned a price, SKU details and a fixed price shipping cost which opens up a payment portal through Paypal & Stripe (for Creditcards)

If you’re a business that wants to sell just a few items like hand made crafts, food or company merchandise at a fixed rate its really all you need and your customers can pay with the confidence of a recognised payment service.

Our example is of a simple t-shirt (not available of purchase) set at a fixed price and with a fixed shipping rate of $10 which will be calculated at the PayPal payment portal.

Click the button to try it out!

Note: Depending on the number of items listed for sale, this example would require some admin time in addition to the Payments & Subscription price, please contact us for more information.

A Buy Button With Variables

Taking the simple buy button a step further, this button has all the same features as above but with the addition of being able to create variables for your products or service. That can be a price, a colour, a bulk discount or what ever variable you can think off, this payment portal can be extremely flexible and is also tied in to secure payments like PayPal, Stripe & even Apple Pay.

Whatever your business you can simply offer an online payment option with a shopping cart so your website users can browse your products and services, make choices based on your variables and save to a cart so they can either complete a multi item purchase in a single transaction or comeback to their saved cart at a later date and all without having to commit to a full eCommerce platform.

Continuing with our example of Image Temple branded merchandise (not available for purchase) we’ve created a hoodie listing with variable colour & size options. In the selectable drop down we’ve made some sizes as unavailable (out of stock) to demonstrate a stock control element, we’ve also added a $15.00 discount on multi purchases and a bulk delivery discount, These discounts show up in the payment portal you select.

Have a click around to try it out, add a few things to the cart and see how it works, you can return to the cart by clicking the icon at the top right the image.

Note: This example would utilise multiple plug in options and would require some admin time in addition to the Payments & Subscription price, please contact us for more information.

Donations Buttons

Setting up charitable funds or donations pages on your own personal website has never been easier. Whether your business is hosting a Charity Gala, Creating a wedding list service or you’re offering your clients the opportunity to donate or sponsor you or your business for an event, we can create a donations form that can accept payments through your preferred PayPal account.

It can be a simple as button that people can donate the amount they wish or select from a drop down box or can be a more involved form where the donator provides their full details and can be redirected to a confirmation page once the donation has been completed. You will also be able to retain their contact information to follow up with the success of the event.
(We have provided examples of both that are live so you can see how they work, however we aren’t acceptation donations)

Content Creators

Receiving donations don’t have to be charity related in the current day and age of content creators, you can add one of these buttons to your website or blog for your community or subscribers to donate and show support for the content your provide.

Subscriptions Button.

Receive payments weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly for the products or services you provide, that could be a subscription to receive content like recipes, education support and videos right through to monthly payments to sporting clubs, car maintenance programs or commercial services.

Once subscribed the payment is deducted from the Paypal or Credit Card provided by the subscriber for the duration of the pre determine period.

You can even offer a free period before money starts to be taken as a way of giving even better value.
Our example button is live so you can see how it works.

Another way to use this would be to set up a subscriber/admin page utilising a secure login so your clients get access to content straight from your website on receipt of their subscription. See
Forms & Logins.

Just an idea.
