Menus & Active Grids
Every website has a site wide menu for onsite navigation, and all of our sites will have an integrated top bar menu (or off canvas for mobile devices) to suit your needs, But have you thought about independent on page menus and active grids that can create stand out, fun and interactive experiences for your clients?
Under the flexible menus tab below are a few examples of what can be created and added on to any of our easy website & simple store solutions or as part of a custom build.
Under the active grids tab we’ve also created some examples different ways to display your content or on page menus using expandable panels, widows and active grids.
Each of the examples have the addition of a number that opens a reveal draw that you can provide website or product notes and links for your clients or faster navigation.

Rotating Menu
This menu example with a rotating wheel is great for creative content like videos, music, photo galleries or quick fire information that clients can interact with.
You are unlimited as to the amount of information that can be rotated in this menu, the framework can be styled in many different ways including the addition of images, icons, text a gradient colouring so it can fit seamlessly into your website styling and become a prominent feature, all before adding the content.
Our example is demonstrating a media player layout with a video playlist made up of hosted and embed videos, a music player with a flip card style system (music hosted) a YouTube or Vimeo embedded video and a streamed music example of a single, album and playlist from Spotify.
The options are endless.
Note: This example would utilise multiple plug in options in addition to the menu price.
Interactive pop up menu
This large interactive pop up style menu can be placed anywhere on your website and fashioned in a circle or square (see example) and have either 4 or 8 clickable images or icons to direct or display clients or customers to anywhere on your website.
Each image can also animate some text in the centre of the grid and also be minimised via the central cross (we have left it open for this example but click around and try it out)
The menu can be styled both with colours and images and can be sized to meet your on page requirements.
Our example is showing an example of a food menu with 8 dishes on the table, if you utilised this menu for a similar theme you could direct each dish to a full menu, pricing or calories breakdown on a separate page, we have linked the cannelloni to a webpage for the ingredients and cooking instructions but we can set this menu up to be what every you like - be creative.

These hidden menus a fully adaptable including full screen with customisable images, animated icons and selectable grids (see example) or an expandable pop up / drop down window as used on our own site.
These menus aren’t limited to navigation, you can also create social icons, help options and much more

Animated reveal & expandable menu
This reveal style menu can be design to play multiple roles on your website, it can become your primary expandable navigation menu, help or search pop up, social media sharing expander or what ever creative idea you want it to be.
Its fully customisable with no limit to the amount options you can reveal, its only limited by your imagination.
Our example shows an active expandable help option.

Simple search option
This pop out menu is set up to show a quick and easy example of a site search menu.
It can be set up to have as much or as little information as you like but this pop out option has a few quick navigation & frequently used buttons and a site search window for clients to quickly find product or services on your website.
Note: We’ve set the search window to discover just a couple of services for the purpose of this example.
Expandable Window
Expandable panels, windows & grids are great for cleaning up your web page and creating unique and interesting content that clients can interactive with. You can add as many expandable windows as you like which can all be uniquely styled in colours, background images, icons and more.
Your content can be anything you wish from videos, images, text and FAQ’s to name a few and we have created comments and chat forums using them on our own reviews page.
In this example we have created a flower store with a themed background and buy now option.

Expandable Active Panels
Much like the expandable grids, expandable panels allow you to create multiple fully customisable and flexible panels that hide your content and allow for an interactive experience for your website users.
You can add as many panels as you like and individually style them to make your products or content jump of the page.
In this example we have laid out panels with 3 popular car companies to highlight the individual styling, animation and flexibility achievable and how you can customise and add features to suit your needs. We added book a test drive!

Active Grids
Active grids are excellent for user engagement and to help direct your website viewer to different elements of your site, internal or external pages and creating pop ups for quick answers to questions.
There is no limit to the number you can have and we can create them in a variety of shapes, styles and animation effects to really make your user experience fun and informative.
We’ve created two examples so you can see the different and creative ways you can use active grids on your website
In the first example we’ve used the summer olympic games sporting events to show how active panels can highlight event information, videos, images and links to affiliate sites.
Note: Not all square are active but click Archery, Athletics, Judo, Rowing & More Sports to see different examples.
