For smaller websites, adding a check box filter is a simple and effective way to allow quick sorting of products and services.

Essentially we can add sub categories that are activated by checking the corresponding box. Its fully customisable, can have a display all function with no limit to the number of check boxes. however, if you have lots of products perhaps a more in-depth filter with full search functionality is better suited.

In our example we have 5 sub categories linked to the corresponding check box. We have also added a sixth item that is tagged to multiple categories to demonstrate how you can have associated products link together.

This type of content filtering is aimed to give medium to large websites complete and multi purpose search functionality by offering a range of different selectable & immediate response layout buttons, a full search bar and grouped or tagged categories to make your searches faster & easier.

This is a fully customisable search style filter that will only show what’s has been correlated and tagged within the sub groups set up (if you are looking for a site wide search function then click the website searches tab above)

This is great for eCommerce platforms or websites that have multiple services.

In our example, as with the check box filter we have used 6 different categories. Have a click around to see how all the buttons react and we have also added a no result image when a non filtered item is typed in the search bar.

Smaller web stores or businesses that want to be able to offer filtering capabilities for their products but in a modern and engaging way are going for switch style filtering.

It doesn’t have the capabilities of the search button and advanced group filters demonstrated on this preview page as each product is set up independently to meet your desired filtering requirements, However it can be a really vibrant way of making your products stand out and especially for smaller businesses that aren’t looking for a huge online sales style layout, it can create a fast, clean and modern look for your website that standout from the rest.

In our example we’ve created a range of t-shirts that are filtered via the colour coded switches with an overlayed interchangeable price tag that’s linked to the selectable size options below.

The buy me buttons on this example are switched off.
